What are you up to this week? Any news? It's been raining a lot here so I have been watching 10 Things I Hate About You (both the film and short-lived television series) on Netflix. I ran into some readers in Starbucks over the weekend, that's always fun. I also stocked up on Fashion magazines and coffee table books.

Right now I'm debating buying these Tibi leather shorts seen on Olivia Palermo or these red Chloe sunglasses. Can you help me choose?

With some gifcards to burn, courtesy of Gap, I invited my Mom along for fun. She found quite a few layering pieces. Pieces I may later borrow.. I fell in love with this ash gray cape. I know it'll go with just about everything I wear this Winter Holiday. It's right up my color palette.

I've worn my Spring 2010 Pierre Hardy for Gap wedges too many times to count. The debut?

Pierre Hardy knocks another one out of the park. This Fall, suede is all the rage. Here's a peek of the peep-toe platform wedges that hit Gap shelves (and online) October 19th. I can't wait to wear mine with sweaters and lots of layers.

Mind the Gap

Gap Always Skinny 1969 denim courtesy of Lucky Magazine.

Forever 21 blouse. Target tank. Storets blue suede wedges.



What drew me instantly to this particular pair was the wash. I’m partial to light wash denim, especially in the summer. They remind me of clouds. The fit is slightly on the baggier side, which I love. I’m a fan of cuffing up the hems. They have a boyfriend fit that is appealing yet still feminine and flattering.



I chose to keep the other pieces neutral to compliment the denim. The shocking blue shoes seem to make these jeans stand out that much more. This pair is not only soft but lightweight in texture. I am sure to wear them time and time again.



Now I'm off to start packing for another special trip.. news soon...

My first afternoon in Florida was spent in Marco Island. I enjoyed ice cream sandwiches, iced lattes, running in the beach, drinking Odwalla (oh how I missed it!) Any retailers in NC by the way? I chased dragonflies and soaked up the Sun.

Your Love's a Drug

Vodka & Caviar by OPI and Bleach Black rings.

The two-tier vanilla cake I made for Mother's day. Strawberry jam, whipped cream, red sugar sprinkles and fresh strawberries topped it off.

It disappeared in less than a day.

My LG Rumor Touch is so perfect for texting on while waiting at a Cafe.

I like to decorate my fingers with Noir rings.

Pierre Hardy x Gap Spring wedges are my new staple.

AA salt and pepper hoody. Rebecca Minkoff Morning After clutch. True Religion Johnnys.

These Jeffrey Campbell Snick wedges are love.

They very much remind me of Celine Spring'10.

Walking in Wonderland

This is what I would have worn to Coachella, if I had gotten the chance to go. The floaty, light fabric of this colorful printed French Connection dress is so airy and fresh. The wedges are a collaboration between Pierre Hardy and Gap that debut in stores (and online) May 10th. I'm impressed by both the design and comfort level. Like walking on Sunshine.




And yes, I cut my hair. I finally took the plunge. I trimmed about 5 or 6 inches off and had the rest thinned and layered throughout. I may go a tiny bit shorter with more layers in a few months. Summer is too long and too hot for high maintenance hair... I will always miss my Alexander Wang and Miu Miu braid nevertheless.
