This Summer I worked on a really cool project with True Religion Jeans and Glamour magazine. These photos are just a Sneak Peek.



One question I get asked a lot when I meet my readers is what inspires me? Which blogs do I like to read? Well, I am very much inspired by music. There is something about hearing a beautiful melody that simply puts me in a great mood. I'm also inspired by Old Hollywood films. And to be honest, I can spend hours flipping through the pages of ELLE, VOGUE, and Harper's BAZAAR. (See Video.) I also have to make a daily stop at these blogs: TWIN FASHION, Little Plastic Horses and Fashion Gone Rogue - for model candids, street style and general Fashion inspiration, straight from the catwalk, and off..

Walking in Wonderland

This is what I would have worn to Coachella, if I had gotten the chance to go. The floaty, light fabric of this colorful printed French Connection dress is so airy and fresh. The wedges are a collaboration between Pierre Hardy and Gap that debut in stores (and online) May 10th. I'm impressed by both the design and comfort level. Like walking on Sunshine.




And yes, I cut my hair. I finally took the plunge. I trimmed about 5 or 6 inches off and had the rest thinned and layered throughout. I may go a tiny bit shorter with more layers in a few months. Summer is too long and too hot for high maintenance hair... I will always miss my Alexander Wang and Miu Miu braid nevertheless.

There's this electric energy that flows through me whenever I am in New York City. I feel at home there.
The LOFT flagship store was très amazing. Beautifully organized by color, cut and accessory.




I couldn't believe the party myself. To see and meet Alexa Chung was pretty much unbelievable!
After leaving the soirée for Dinner, I came back to find Alexis Bledel 2 heads in front of me in line. QUEL SURPRISE! I have to say both girls were not only prettier in person, but just as sweet as I'd imagined! Ra Ra Riot puts on a great show, amazing LIVE. Catch them if you can.



Visiting is bittersweet, always wondering when I'll be back.
I love New York, and hope to stay in the Bowery Hotel again soon!

The Best Kind of Connection

A small act of kindness is almost an oxymoron because any act of kindness, no matter how small, can play a large role in uplifting just about any soul. A smile can turn an entire person's attitude around. We're here to help each other. Below is a beautiful quote I found stating exactly what I am feeling at this very moment....


We all have such love and kindness to share. Just open your heart and let it flow.

Show everyone just how much you care, with a simple smile and a friendly hello.

Small things in life could mean so such, to those who are lost and so alone.
