Chambray Romper and Cowboy boots

Tulle cardigan, Forever 21 chambray romper, Aldo beanie, Asos studded ankle boots, Vintage faux Chanel bag


The weekend before last was the exact opposite, weather wise. The sun was shining, the birds chirping and the rain nonexistent. We went to the park for a picnic. I brought along Life & Style magazine, Subway, potato salad and homemade pasta salad. I'm getting hungry just remembering it all over again. I wore my chambray romper that I can't help but imagine Kate Bosworth owning a similar style. The studded ankle boots and chain bag were thrown in to add just enough edge to the sweet, light wash denim. Even though Spring and Summer are basically here it's still kind of chilly. Enough so, I needed the cardigan and beanie. As much as I miss Miami, summers there weren't always picture perfect. Most of the summer is filled with rain and way more humidity than any girl can really hope to handle. I don't miss wearing tank tops and shorts or flip flops April through August. It's nice being able to layer and adapt to four different seasons every year. I do miss the beaches though...

Butterflies and Hurricanes

I feel as if I am becoming quite the Jeffrey Campbell aficionado. I can't help it. I love shoes.



My YSL ring makes another debut & I find it funny that the only finger she fits on is my middle left one. Alexa Chung wears hers the exact same way.



The scarf I am wearing is by Obakki and I am very excited to share the story behind it. The Obakki Foundation went to Cameroon, Africa and gave 150 children living in three orphanages a piece of paper and a pen, and asked them three questions: What makes you happy? What makes you sad? What makes you afraid? 100% of proceeds go directly to helping the children. Every heartfelt answer they wrote down is scrawled all over this scarf.

Now I ask you: What makes you happy, sad, and afraid?

When I think about blogging I can't help but to appreciate how much my life has been enriched by it. It's almost as if I took a walk in unknown territory only to stumble into a hidden little corner. A spot where fashion enthusiasts from all over the World gather for a sweet rendezvous. A land where I can freely ask frivolous questions, without receiving a bewildered expression, such as Do those shoes fit true to size? What color is your nail polish? or Where can I find that highly anticipated h&m dress before it sells out?

The support I get from all of you, my readers, are truly the building blocks of this blog and is tremendously overwhelming, in a good way of course. I love you, I love you.
