As I sat down to write this post today, I realized that Christmas will soon be here. In less than 61 days. Christmas Eve is my favorite. Of course, I also can't wait for Thanksgiving. It's the coziest of Holidays. Just like this fuzzy faux fur leopard print coat. I'm so happy the Weather is finally letting me play with it again.

I grabbed a quick brunch in this today, after meeting up with a prospective new client. I work part/time writing for local magazines about Fashion, I also Style clients. Acting as a personal shopper, I help them select options for events, parties, and travel. It's a really fun job. I've been doing this since the day I started working at Barneys New York after College.

The wind whipped past my face and hair at record speed, leaving my fingers and legs with a frosty chill. Anything for blog photo opts right? ;)

Midnight Lace

Happy Twenty Ten! How was your New Year's Eve spent? I was invited to a little Dinner party last minute, which meant a chance to dress up one very last time in 2009. I ate shrimp Creole, played Are You Smarter than a 5th grader? and rang in 2010 right: with lace, Balenciaga, 12 grapes and champagne! Thanks to Karen & Diana for scoring my new shoes all the way from New York City for me! ;) Nicolas Ghesquière is one of my favorite people; as is Mary-Kate Olsen, thus these being my new favorite shoes!

Hello Lover!

I was, unfortunately, unable to tackle "that surprise" over the weekend. But no worries, as I have many other surprises in store for the blog really soon. This rectangular plaza caught my brother's eye, and so we stopped here for another photo opt. I scored this (faux) fur scarf shawl thing a few weekends back and was finally able to work it into a look for the blog. We couldn't leave without spying on the baseball game that was going on a few yards over.

Marching into November!

As we enter the crisp month of November, I am instantly filled with visions of the Holiday season to come. Brightly colored decor; in glittering green, lavish gold and ruby red; twinkling lights, egg nog and pumpkin pie; the gift of giving and creating new memories; traditions. All, tantalizing the senses.

From grungy to girly, who better to bring life to the holiday spirit of dressing up than the boisterous Balmain, trendsetting Mary Kate Olsen, entrepreneur Erin Wasson and model Hilary Rhoda? From big hair to fun fur, this is the time of year that I treasure most. It's going to be a grand celebration and I can't wait for the festivities to begin! ♥
