As I sat down to write this post today, I realized that Christmas will soon be here. In less than 61 days. Christmas Eve is my favorite. Of course, I also can't wait for Thanksgiving. It's the coziest of Holidays. Just like this fuzzy faux fur leopard print coat. I'm so happy the Weather is finally letting me play with it again.

I grabbed a quick brunch in this today, after meeting up with a prospective new client. I work part/time writing for local magazines about Fashion, I also Style clients. Acting as a personal shopper, I help them select options for events, parties, and travel. It's a really fun job. I've been doing this since the day I started working at Barneys New York after College.

Finally a faux fur that fits me right. I swear every time I try one on I look like a massive football player. Double score on the leopard print.

I watched Grease 2 over the weekend and revisited my archived crush on Maxwell Caulfield haha.. ;) and adoration for Michelle Pfeiffer's wardrobe all over again..

Ice Skates and Sweet Dreams

There comes a time every bird has to fly. Although I will miss Miami very much, it doesn't mean I might not come back.. in the meantime... some memories I will hold on fast to.....
Rainy mornings, worth staying in bed for. Long walks on the beach. Seeing the Sunset next to a flock of seagulls. Drinking cold coffee in December. Wearing bikinis under my clothes. Seeing 90210 in my room for the first time. Rescuing Sweety. Bike rides at night. Lincoln Road. Urban Outfitters at Sunset Place. Mango smoothies. Family.

I call this The Carrie Bradshaw!

Call it playing dress up or call it reality. What difference does it really make? If you're happy with the outcome, that is what counts most, right? And that is what I pull from Sarah Jessica Parker and her alter ego, Carrie Bradshaw. Yes! every. single. time. that I watch Sex and the City; Carrie inspires me like nothing else. Each episode is like unwrapping a Christmas present, only leaving me with the urge to dig through my closet and come up with something new and different and always, very Carrie.
