Lavender Flowers

One of the things I will miss most about Miami and Florida is... the notion of flowers; year round, especially lavender flowers. But, where I am moving to next... will give me a taste of actual seasons. I've always been a fan of boots, sweaters and outerwear. Before, I could only dream about what it must be like to actually get the chance to dress this way for more than a few days out of the year. Here, you're actually sweating in them under the hot Miami sun, begging for thin pieces of breathable cotton in their place...

Nike Run

A glimpse into a casual me, if you will. I tend to wear sneakers when I just want to hang out on the weekend, especially when running errands or working out. Here, I'm excited to be wearing my new Elizabeth and James deconstructed tee. Thank you, Krystal for informing me of my Contest win. For those of you asking me what I do to keep fit? Easy: I love to play tennis, run/jog, take long, brisk walks with Sweety after dinner, and drinking lots and lots (and lots) of water. I owe Stompface for getting me hooked on Passion Pit, which is what you are listening to now. I'm also really into Rihanna at the moment. I definitely recommend Selfish Girl and Good Girl Gone Bad. By the way, I'm on episode 3 of Tudors, Season 1 now. And let me just say, I cannot stop drooling over Jon Rhys as King Henry VIII. Ahhh! Lovefool

May 19, 2007 was my Wedding day. Today we are celebrating our 2-year Wedding anniversary! Dinner and dancing plans are set for tonight. On another note, I didn't get the chance to catch any of those movies last weekend after all (Star Trek or Angels & Demons) but hoping to do so this weekend. And the music you are listening to happens to be my very favorite remix of Lovefool by the Cardigans. My photographer is out of town on business for a week but I am very much looking forward to our next photo shoot with his new camera. Thanks for the lovely comments, you guys are the best!!

And some just layed around in bed

And I did, this morning. The sun wasn't showing her pretty face. So I read some more of my coffee table book that came in, by mail yesterday. A Year in Fashion. (photo, courtesy of Amarillo-blog.) There's nothing cozier than cuddling up on a dark morning, in bed, reading all about FashionFashionFashion!



Here I am in pajamas, but somehow still respectable, I think. haha. As you can see I'm donning my favorite hue; purple. I think Sweety wanted to bite the charm off of my bracelet. She loves to bite things, as she is still teething.

Owl Eyes

I owe it to my brother for helping me to find this quaint little spot for these particular photos. The best part was when the colorful and cute patchwork cat decided to drop in. We called her "Calypsa" and she even responded to us after a while... Here, I decided to add in my eggplant purple Foley + Corinna bag (thank you, ShopTherapy) I love how soft she feels. I have nicknamed her "Alice" after Alice in Wonderland. Well, it's finally Friday, here's to a long weekend full of adventures, let it all soak in!

Waiting for my Ship to come, but my Ship's not coming back ...

After enjoying a leisurely brunch in Miami Beach at News Cafe, I decided to pop into Barnes & Noble on my way home. Namely to pick up the Kate Moss Style book. To my dismay, it was already SOLD OUT!!!! Did anyone manage to get their hands on it? I want details!! For now, it will just have to go on my ever expanding Christmas Wish List ...
