" VIDEO " Pink Shorts Inspired by Isabel Marant

I'm still a bit out of sorts with the news on my Mother in Law, she seems to be stable now, yet still in intensive care. We're all praying for the best. In the meanwhile, I haven't had the chance to edit an outfit set. Instead, I'm sharing another video with you guys today. (You seemed to like my last one here.) As promised, here are the pictures I took with my Mom yesterday showcasing my new Balenciaga bag, Sweater and glitter jeans. This two tone sweater reminds me so much of Isabel Marant + Nicole Richie -- my favorites! I can't wait to start my travels this year with my new bag. :)

Also, this is the first time (in a very long while) I've attempted a ponytail of sorts. Yay? Nay?

Sparkle and Fade sweater, So Low leggings, Guess boots, H&M clutch


I first saw this sweater on Jenna from Pretty Little Liars. The style reminded me so much of Isabel Marant and her previous Spring collection. I adore chunky knits, especially in purple and pink. I had to find out who made it. Luckily, with a few clicks and a search on Google, I did. It's from Urban Outfitters. I only found it fitting to pair with leggings, ankle boots and a rosy pink clutch!

Kicking back on Sunday with Lanvin and the Oscars

Before, one could only imagine the outcome of creativity if Cleopatra: Queen of the Nile and Pocahontas were BFF's and swapped wardrobes. Well now, you can see it and this is exactly what it would look like: furs, feathers, black fringe, tribal jewelry and pleated metallics. Lanvin took my breath away. Well done, Alber Elbaz!


Paris Fashion Week really won me over this Season.

Christian Dior (Think: Newsies meets high-end, yet old fashioned, Circus glamour.) Isabel Marant (Sandy, from Grease, would so wear this. 50's and 60's chic to the max!) Gareth Pugh (beetle shaped capes and Space traveling-ready boots.) Nina Ricci (brought Old Hollywood Glamour back, in the form of body hugging knee length tea dresses, lace and pops of happy color.) Dries Van Noten (Think: Pretty in Pink, Ferris Bueller, with a tinge of Back to the Future / 80's cool!) And we can't forget about Balmain - Equal parts trendsetting and a flashback to 1970's: Disco glam.



Who saw Alice in Wonderland over the weekend? Thoughts? Likes/dislikes? I usually wait for the crowds to dissipate before attempting to view a feature film... I like it quiet and empty.


Ps. What is/was your favorite dress from The Oscars last night? I absolutely loved Sarah Jessica Parker's hair.
