After seeing Zooey Deschanel take to the red carpet for the 2012 Golden Globe Awards in a custom made emerald Prada frock, I couldn't help being reminded of this Everly dress. After a few spins in this thing, I feel like Zooey Deschanel as Jess in New Girl. Can't you too imagine Zooey in this playful, green dress?

Supergirl in Yellow and Chanel

For some reason when I put on Alex's glasses with my outfit, I felt like a mix between Supergirl and Clark Kent incognito. His glasses are obviously a bit large for my frame, but I liked the quirky vibe they added to my look. He liked it too, but made sure to say I couldn't keep them. Phooey! Luckily, we share nearly the same eyeglass prescription.

In other news, I'm super excited about the latest blog Project I'm working on. I'll be flying to Boston for a few days to continue filming this secret Project next week. After which, I will come home to rest before it's back to packing and on my way to.. NEW YORK FASHION WEEK!

Triple Layer Pink Dress

This dress makes me pine for strawberry shortcake dipped in dark chocolate. Since it was chilly this morning on my way to a meeting, and this dress is sleeveless, I splashed on my favorite pink blazer for a meringue -like topping. Do you like my new dress? How should I wear it next?

Belle Dress

Whenever I meet someone new, they always ask me if I'm Italian for some reason? I'm not. In fact my family roots are deeply cemented in Spain, France and Cuba. And, I was born in Miami, Florida. However, I adore the Italian language, Italian music and Italian food. When I pulled on this sheath of a dress I felt romantic and a tiny bit Italian. Didn't hurt that Alex and I were celebrating some great news at an Italian restaurant I suppose...

Whenever I wear dresses, I feel like a princess. I've always been fond of the Disney princesses (and for a day) I felt like Belle.

P.S. To any of you using Netflix Instantly Online.. am I the only one bothered by their pulling shows and movies off at random? I was really getting into a TV program only to find out it will be removed on Friday. I still have two more seasons left to go =(

It's funny to see how trends recycle and come back in new ways. When I think color blocking and neon, I'm reminded of my roller skating rink days in the eighties. All while keeping the clutch and shoes neutral....

Anniversary Dinner in a Roman Dress

A Roman Ritual This is the beautiful dress I decided to wear out to dinner on my Wedding anniversary date. How do you like it? I have always gravitated towards teals and turquoise hues during the warm, summer months. These colors tend to compliment my tan. Now, living up North I have little to no tan. I need to bring it back. Good thing I'm planning a beach getaway for the summer.

When it comes to dressing for the heat wave known as summer, it's really easy to get stuck in a rut of flats, dresses, shorts and tank tops. I decided to juxtapose a girly, floral print dress with a sturdy utility jacket and quasi combat boots to rebel a little bit. If Lindsay Weir weren't perpetually stuck in the 80's dealing with high school, she would probably be all over this jacket right now. You know who I'm talking about right?
